etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2016 Cadillac SRX- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at Etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2016 Cadillac SRX. And this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Cadillac and it's got a nice clean look. A majority of the hitch is hidden behind the rear fascia, leaving just the receiver tube opening to be really visible and it does sit pretty nice against the fascia. Now that's something that you may notice is that panel that was here previous will not be able to be reinstalled because the hitch sticks out a little bit, but again, it's got a pretty clean look. Now this one is a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and something that's specific to the Etrailer hitch is that matte black powder coat finish, which looks really nice here but with that 2 inch by 2 inch, that means you have tons of different options available, which is gonna be great for any bike racks, ball mounts, or cargo carriers that you may put on here. All of them are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip, and this is not included with the hitch, but a lot of times your accessories will come with a pin and clip, if you wanna get a locking one those are available here at Etrailer and that way if you plan on leaving your accessories on the back of your Cadillac, they can stay locked in place. more

So believe it or not, we actually get quite a few of these Volvos in the shop here at etrailer, and it seems like people do a lot of different things with them, from using accessories to pulling trailers around, or even a little bit of both. So having a hitch back here is going to allow you to get those types of tasks done. I do wanna address one of the main questions that we get asked in regards to putting a trailer hitch on the XC60, and that is, will the hands-free liftgate assist feature still function And the answer is yes, as long as you kick your foot to either side of the receiver tube opening, the hatch will open up like it should. more

Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver Installation - 2024 Kia Telluride- Video

Hey, guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2024 Kia Telluride, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Stealth Hitch 2-inch Hitch Receiver. Now, the biggest difference between the Stealth Hitch and all the other hitches out there on the market designed to fit the Kia Telluride is that the receiver tube is gonna be removable which is where it gets its name, the Stealth Hitch. It's gonna be stealthy, so that you remove the receiver tube, and you can't even tell you have the components that are behind this bumper. I will tell you right off the bat, there's two different kits available for this particular hitch and one is going to be the one we installed today, which is the rack receiver only, which is just your receiver tube that will accept your bike racks and cargo carriers. So if you have different accessories like maybe a flagpole, if you like tailgating, stuff like that, that is just for this receiver tube. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2024 Chevrolet Traverse, and we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the CURT Class 3 two-inch hitch receiver. Adding the hitch receiver to the back here at Traverse is gonna allow you to haul bike racks, cargo carriers, or maybe even tow a small trailer. If you're planning on towing a trailer, I highly recommend going ahead and picking up a four-pole wiring harness to install while you install the hitch, because our factory plug is gonna be right here behind the fascia. It'll be really, really easy to get it plugged in and get it working while you're installing the hitch. Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Installation - 2023 BMW X5- Video

Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we have a 2023 BMWX X5 and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Stealth hitch with the tow package on your vehicle here. Now before we get into a bunch of the other details, I want to explain the first and foremost and most obvious differentiator from the Stealth hitch to all the other hitches available for the X5. The X5 is a very, very good looking car and the last thing you want is a hitch receiver tube sticking out the back, especially one of this length, it kind of takes away from the car, especially if this hitch goes in five years, starts to rust. Well the Stealth hitch is designed so that you turn a knob, you can pop that receiver tube out and then there's nothing left on your car to see. Adding a hitch receiver to the back of your 4xe is gonna allow you to carry bike racks, cargo carriers, or maybe even tow a small trailer. If you plan on towing a trailer, I recommend picking up a 4-pole wiring harness off our website to be able to go with your hitch 'cause you're gonna need to get those lighting signals to the back of your trailer. Adding a hitch to the back of your Sienna is gonna allow you to do a couple different things. You can use it for bike racks or cargo carriers if you're wanting some more storage on the back of your vehicle, or you could do what this owner of this vehicle is gonna do and pull a small trailer. It's gonna have pretty impressive weight capacity, so you can pull trailers that have by using weight distribution or not. Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Installation - 2021 Chevrolet Bolt EV- Video

Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Draw-Tite Class I trailer hitch receiver on a 2021 Chevrolet Bolt ev. This is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and for the most part, this is a hidden cross tube, meaning you're not gonna see a good portion of the hitch except for the receiver tube opening. Now a little bit over here, on these cutouts on the bumper, you are gonna see a little portion of the hitch if you're down low, but overall it stays pretty hidden and gives you a nice clean look overall. Now this is gonna be a Class I, so it's 1 1/4 inch receiver tube opening, which is not as common as your two inch receiver tube opening. So when it comes to accessories, you're gonna be a little bit more limited. But on a vehicle like this, a lot of times there's not many options. more

You just want to be sure that you're within the weight capacities of your vehicle before you start doing that. Having a two inch hitch receiver on the back of your Mustang is gonna be one of the best options that you can have when you're trying to haul different accessories.
